Okay for a first work, forgettable by general standards

At first you think it&#39;s a degenerate video game addict.
In fact, it is the ignorant masses who are manipulated by the power to kill people in reality and think they are playing games. Body flying up the shot is really stick out of a small bug finally a player found sth wrong to escape out immediately ordered to obliterate himself became the target of the game.
Shooting techniques and scene rendering are not handsome, logic is also commendable.

Uncanny Valley

You give man excitement, a source and niche. The pleasure is so much that he would even fail to ask whether he is manipulated or not. One of the best short creations I have ever seen. Hope this would turn into a feature, just to reach more people as it is already awesome. Though it slightly reminded me of psycho-pass, this live action has good feel and an awesome moral. The execution is very neat and this is a next-gen making. Screenplay is real good. With just match cuts, the story is unraveling. I wish the team creates more of this brainy movie stuff. 10/10.

I really loved the way this short film delivers its message. The dystopian world with the exploitation of people who don&#39;t fit into &#39;normal&#39; society. The documentary feel is broken up with the totally immersive game-play scenes. Unlike other people in the YouTube comments section, I don&#39;t think this film needs to be expanded into a full movie. The director and producer managed to get their intended point across very effectively in my opinion. Perhaps some people wanted a better understanding of why the character chose to break out of the game-play limits. That could have been better managed by having the &#39;ghost&#39; hack him while he was still in the first world. Then we&#39;d understand why he would chose to break off from his unit and explore further, ultimately discovering what they were really being made to do. I&#39;m currently writing a novel about a man who lives in a dystopian near-future world. He is desperate to remain in a VR simulation to escape his crappy life. This is why I searched for this type of stimulation to draw inspiration from, and it was perfect for my needs. These imaginings are also pertinent as a comment about our governments and other powerful corporations who are likely to monetise and utilise their citizens as a resource, whether we agree to being used and abused or not. All up I give this fantastic work my highest mark of 9 stars.

The concept is enough to build a feature out of this, or even a series. A Tom Clancy meets Ender&#39;s Game sort of series that would work wonderfully on Netflix.

&quot;Uncanny Valley&quot; is a 9-minute live action short film from 2015 and since this was released less than 1.5 years ago, it managed to get a decent amount of clicks on all kinds of video websites. This is science fiction and deals with the potential impact of ego shooters in the futuristic world. It is the only effort as writer and director so far by Argentinian Federico Heller and for that it is not too bad. oh yeah and while this is a South American production, it is still in the English language. Not too much dialogue in here though. As for the story, maybe I am slightly biased because Sci-Fi has never been my favorite genre at all, but I found it too absurd and over the top on some occasions in terms of the story. Visually it&#39;s pretty decent, but this can not make up for me the disappointing parts in terms of the plot. i read several people say they would love a full feature movie based on this but I am not one of these and I give it a thumbs-down because it is more than just a bit on the style over substance side.
