This is easily the best premiere in death battle history. The analyses are pretty good. The fight is one of the most insane in the show. The choreography is rivaled only by Red Hood vs Winter Soldier for best in the series. It also has some insane camera work and it visually looks really good for the time period. They use so many different weapons and even include their teammates despite this not being a duo fight. The 2v2 is absolutely incredible and easily one of the best scenes in the show's history. The ending is also great with Devil trigger Dante fighting Madam butterfly and the amazing kill.

Final score:10/10

Above Hulk vs Doomsday and below Power rangers vs Voltron.

Trivia
For the first time in a Death Battle, additional combatants join a fight in progress. The appearance of Trish and Jeanne was used as an introduction of the Death Battle spin-off DBX, where characters fight with no research taken into account. Jeanne defeated Trish in the first episode of DBX.
