Peter Adrian Sudarso who plays the Blue Ranger in this series, is the real life younger brother of Yoshi Sudarso who played Koda in the previous Power Ranger series, Power Rangers Dino Charge (2015).
The series mark the fourth time in which a Yellow Ranger is played by a male (Alien Rangers, Ninja Storm, and Mystic Force). In some series, the Yellow Ranger is gender swapped with its Super Sentai counterpart for American television.
Kelson Henderson (Mick) is an old veteran when it comes to Power Rangers. He was a regular cast member in S.P.D. (Space Patrol Delta), Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive, and Jungle Fury (Boom, Phineas, Norg, and Flit respectively), and made appearances in Power Rangers Dino Thunder, R.P.M., Megaforce, and Dino Charge
Originally, Calvin was to be played by Chantz Simpson as announced in Power Morphicon 2016. However, later on in September 2016, the role was recast by Nico Greetham, due to "unforeseen circumstances".
