A cinematic treasure -The Yellow Tie is exactly what we needed!
The Yellow Tie is the kind of film that doesn't just touch your heart - it sticks to it. Honestly, for me, it's the film of the year, no debate. You simply can't stay indifferent when you see how much finesse, respect, and passion are poured into the story of Sergiu Celibidache.
And the actors? Man, the actors are absolutely phenomenal. They play with such natural depth that you forget you're watching a movie - it feels like you're right there, living every breath, every gesture, every glance. It's rare to see a cast so perfectly tuned and so deeply connected to their characters.
The direction and cinematography give off that classic-art vibe without ever feeling pretentious. Everything breathes respect for Celibidache's legacy while still having the courage to create something artistically bold. It completely pulled me in.
If you haven't seen it yet, go! It's absolutely worth it. It's one of those films that leaves something warm inside you - and honestly, too few do that these days.

Profound feelings
This movie made me yearn to attend another orchestral performance. The main character's development was portrayed excellently, and the multi-generational family dynamic touched a chord that resonated with many of us in the audience.
More than one person around had years to shed, or to hide.
Excellent depiction of the tortured artist, which unironically made me appreciate my drug history, and having found the elusive perfection necessary to manifest gratitude in life.
The rollercoaster of history reached a beautiful crescendo at the end.

Exquisite
I must confess to a tiny degree of boredom in the first half of this. The documentary maker was there in all his glory and it was tiring in places. Nevertheless, it all makes sense and works out wonderfully in the second half, with a lot of aha! Moments, some laughs and a a lot of heartfelt scenes. I cried and it amazed me how people stayed until the final credits and applauded each archive footage of Celibidache shown. What to take from home: loads of tissues. What to take back: smiles and raw emotion. I for one will definitely go and watch it again.
A great movie
I believe The Yellow Tie is destined to receive an international award-though I'm not sure which one, it absolutely deserves recognition. This film is a powerful journey into the world of emotions, crafted with depth and sincerity. It offers a beautiful window into understanding "feelings" beyond words. Romanians have every reason to be proud of Sergiu Celibidache, and honestly, the world should feel the same. A remarkable film that stays with you long after the credits. Go to cinemas to watch.
