This was very much a collaborative project between Brooklyn and British-centric friends. Rebecca Hall and Dan Stevens were briefly classmates at Cambridge University and appearing on the British and the Brooklyn Academy of Music stage in several Shakespearean productions. Hall and Morgan Spector also shared a Broadway stage in Machinal (2014) and later married. Brian Crano has previously written and directed films with his partner, David Joseph Craig and Rebecca Hall.
