All locations were within 10 minutes of a large populated area.
Outlasters originally started out as a online Webseries but after meeting with Made In Leeds, the show was picked up for a TV mini series.
Orginally written as six, twelve minute episodes but was condensed down to three twenty-two minute episodes to fit with the new TV time slot.
During the first day of shooting a main rain storm had started as cast & crew reached set. To save time they waited the rain out on the location for an hour & then began to shoot. The main character Cris is cold & miserable in the opening scene of him on the moors is real.
Took four months to completely finish filming the series. This makes it the longest production for director Mark Tillotson & Lost Chapter Studios to date (2016)
