After the success of Deal or No Deal on NBC in primetime, they decided to go the syndication route, 5 days a week, and despite the prize money being less than the NBC version and airing for a half-hour, its still the same show, more or less.
Howie Mandel is the host of this version as well, and as I explained before, was a decent host for a game show premise that is out there.
As I said before, it's a time-passer, but it's an enjoyable one, depending on the mood you're feeling, so check it out if you want to, but don't do a binge watch, as it will burn your brain.
