When a young fashion major, Christal de Waal, moves to Lakewood to study fashion, she and her friends learns that there is more than meets the eye for this little town when an anonymous stalker starts harassing and killing them one by one.

10 years after a tragic event took place in a small town called Lakewood, a young fashion major, Christal De Waal, moves to town. Her arrival stirs up trouble and her life is suddenly dashed when an anonymous stalker starts harassing her through threatening text messages which turns to physical violence. Christal and her new friends have to face off the cyber bully that start killing the residents of the town left and right and soon no one is safe and everyone's a suspect. As the group of friends try to focus on their studies and careers, they must solve the mystery of the stalker and the town, and the secrets which were once buried now come to light.—Nicho barnard

From a distance, Lakewood is represented like any other small community. However, when one takes a closer look they discover that it is a place buried under the ashes of deceit, secrets and dirty little lies. The series starts twenty years after an accident which shook the foundation of this quaint little town. Christal de Waal, a young aspiring fashion designer, moves back to Lakewood to uncover the mysteries of her family's past. Her arrival attracts unwanted attention which stirs up a series of events. By default, Christal develops friendships and unlikely alliances with the local popular kids in town. Together they need to balance the brutal demands of their developing careers along with the untimely deaths and threats received by an unknown entity. Thrown into a plethora of crossroads, the group is forced to make decisions, which could drastically alter the course of their lives.—Laikin Govender
