The plot was loosely inspired by the scandal of Ashley Madison, a website for unfaithful husbands that was hacked by activists who revealed their data to the public eye, implying several famous, important CEOs and politicians across the world.
Philippe Lacheau and Élodie Fontan are a couple in real life, being in a relationship since 2015. This was their second on-screen collaboration. As of 2023, they have acted in five movies together, all directed by Lacheau.
