Vanessa Marcil and David Sutcliffe in The Convenient Groom (2016)

Trivia

The Convenient Groom

Edit
Aired as the third of five original films in The Hallmark Channel's 2016 "June Weddings" lineup.
When the characters of Kate and Lucas binge watch the first season of the television series "Badges" (which in reality does not exist), the beginning of the end credits for the last episode are shown. Many of the names in those end credits are actual people who worked on this movie project, including David Winning (director), Navid Soofi (listed as PM and producer in the mock end credits, but is supervising producer for this movie), Matthew Santoro (production coordinator), and Taliesin Sanford (credited as Taliesin S. in the mock end credits - script supervisor).
David Sutcliffe's character in this movie went to Princeton, the same school that his character in Gilmore Girls was supposed to have gone to but did not. His late fiancé's name in the movie was Emily, which was also the name of his mother-in-law in Gilmore Girls.
