Fleabag will end after the final episode of the current second series, according to one of its lead actors. Sian Clifford, who plays Fleabag's (Phoebe Waller Bridge) sister Claire, appeared on BBC Breakfast where she said "there will not be a third series". However, Phoebe Waller Bridge did state that although she doesn't plan a third season she might revisit the character, Fleabag in the later stages of her life.
The character is never named in the series. In fact, with the exception of her sister, brother in law and an ex-boyfriend, no major character is named.
