The Banana is the key feature of the film, which acts as a duel role: A penis for the sexual innuendo scenes and a Gun for the murder scene.
The film received a 72% (a First) at Stephen's Moving Image Production course in University.
Weekdays was heavily influenced by 1963's Photo-Roman film "La Jette" (Dir, Chris Marker). The film itself pays homage to "La Jette" by using the same technique "Photo-Roman"
The film was selected as a Semi-Finalist for the Los Angeles CineFest. This was Stephen Harrington's first film to be selected into any Film Festival and has mentioned at how grateful he is, for the opportunity to have "Weekdays" shown publicly to a wider audience.
