    Brilliant

Nothing more to say really, other than the fact I'm still laughing my head off at the guy below me who went out of his way to unironically give a random music video that didn't really resonate with him, a "4/10" lmao

    Beautiful, Strange and perfectly Radiohead

For odd reason, the local art house theater in my town started exhibiting this music video during select showing of some films. It was completely random, but it might have been a novelty since the theater officially updated to digital and one of the projectionists thought it would be cool to exhibit this music video. I didn't complain of course, since I feel it is one of the best songs in the band's oeuvre.

We see Thom Yorke traversing the world, as disheveled as ever, opening one door and dropping into the worlds of various people. Ultimately he climbs into the mountains, forever removed from the world. It's fitting I write this in 2025, as Radiohead is all but gone from the world and we got The Smile instead. I don't think it was a fair trade off so to speak, this arguably being the band's last step into the mainstream. At least it was a well made video.

    • Trivia
Paul Thomas Anderson and Radiohead sent 35 mm prints of the "Daydreaming" music video to select cinema theaters with a label saying, "We've made a film, here it is. We'd be happy if you played it!", inviting them to screen it.
