Great spoof of 80s horror films, told with much wit. Great performces for the majority of the cast.
Possiby a little overlong 10 minutes should be shaved off to make for easier repeat viewings.

Very entertaining, the comedy aspect was great had audience laughing. All the actors were spot on so much talent. The horror element was also good and kept you guessing. Plenty of twists and turns in the plotline. Alex and Mik have done a great job and should be proud.
Visited the Horror-on-sea festival last weekend in Southend. They are always promoting independent horror films and especially ones that are made locally. Always have a great time and find a few gems and with this one you get You couldnt get more local as its been made and shot in the area!
I grew up loving the slasher movies of the 70s and 80s and although this has been made on a shoestring budget, i found it a clever throwback to that era. Even in the way its shot as if its on dodgy 35mm film (with lines/scratches across the screen at stages). It tells the story of a young girl Emily, who is looking to find out what happened to her father who worked in a factory on some type of experiment. However as she looks into this, her friends & contacts are one by one being disposed of in gruesome gory glory by a masked killer.
Dont go expecting a big budget horror film with loads of jump scares, but if you like corny acting, lots of in movie jokes and a gory whodunit. Look no further. The team have done a great job and i hope if gets the success it deserves. It certainly went down a treat with the local audience!

Found this on Tubi and went in cold. Seeing Lloyd Kaufman in credits was intriguing but the setting and seeming love interest kept my interest low at first.
Stayed at a neutral/lukewarm 5/10 for much of intro, but as the kills rack up and I plugged more into its humor I found myself "getting it" more s'pose
Knew we'd bumped up to 6 with a deep-body-poled kill on the beach, but had no idea where the finale would be going. Skcos Rellik...lmao
The very end/reveals arguably drove this to a surprise 7/10 for me. Obviously this is on something of a scale for low-budget (holiday horror) a la Troma style.
Never thought I'd end this both hyped for and likely willing to pay for a sequel but...Skcos Rellik! C'mon man! Let's Go Brandon!

I was lucky enough to catch this film at its packed premiere screening at horror on sea in January 2020.
Making the most of the by the sea filming location, the film follows the inhabitants of Mellow Coast as they struggle with a killer.
A combination of great writing and retro VHS styling makes this an enjoyable watch.
Defiantly worth checking out!

I myself am not a huge horror fan, however the seamless transition between scenes with there high levels of detail and complexity help to elevate the overall piece.
Overall the gore was manageable and some of the character deaths well deserved. This ultimately is a must watch again movie, with an ending that just screams SEQUEL.
There was a few negatives that took away from the overall piece at times that made me feel disconnected. One such example being that in some scenes the audio didn't sync with the character lips. Weather this was done for a more retro approach i'm unsure.
Ultimately a very strong entry and one that ill be recommending/recommended to my fellow film enthusiasts.

I loved this film! As a lover of 80's VHS horror classics this was everything I could want in a film. I loved the style (with the fake VHS tracking and bad dubbing) and there were some classic one liners. There is a twist in the 3rd act you will not see coming, but trust me, it's a cracker!

This was a highly entertaining movie, with some absolutely insane plot twists that kept me on my toes throughout. It's a wonderful, self-aware, homage to the old VHS horror movies that were funny rather than scary. You can tell everyone involved absolutely loves this style - it shows throughout. Would thoroughly recommend a watch!
If you loved 1980s Horror movies then you will love this great indie film with many nods to the great VHS era of Horror. A stalk and slash feature set by the seaside. Some great visuals and great plot twists. Good fun overall.
Fantastic Movie
This movie is so good!! I love horror movies and this is awesome the cast are brilliant I love Sway in the film he smashes it. Steals the show the showstopper!!
Great writing great editing and sound and amazing visual effects this film takes things to the next level .
Hollywood has given us some good horror as of late but this little gem is very special to me .
I love the story and was gripped when I saw this on DVD recently the screams are great real edge of the seat action love it love it love it.
Superb performance by leads and lovely looking woman which is always a great bonus to see lovely woman on the tv.
Cool film fantastic reviews many awards and I'm not surprised a 10/10 from me all day long one of the best DVDs I've purchased in a long time.
Hopefully will see a part 2 and even 3 as this has got to have a follow up story and I'd be first in line as it's that good.
Thankfully the director really did a good job and directed the action and artists so well.
Very talented actors involved and good production team a true team of professionals behind this masterpiece.
Would highly recommend it to all horror fans its even better the Halloween and Friday the 13th and when it comes to horror I really know my films I've been an horror fan since 1976 and love horrors and I put this up there with the best of them. Well done to all involved.

I absolutely love Swaylee's performance in this film he brings the film to life. Swaylee loves horror movies and it's good to see him play roles in cult horrors such as this.
His scene is superb and brings the story to life. Fun film all day long and pleased it won so many awards around the world.
Good cast good writing good locations good story good camera work lighting sound soundtrack album.
Sway has great screen presence and is a multi talented actor / artist that can play pretty much any character to perfection this method actor is a force to be reckoned with which is why so many people cast him and he can be seen in such a wide variety of movies ranging from Our Manor to Crappers to Bank on us 1 and 2

Trying to hang out with her friends, a teen and others in a small town try to convince her the series of dreams about a missing person that might be related to her father's disappearance are unrelated, but when her friends start dying off finds her quest interconnected with the rampage.
This was a fairly fun and enjoyable slasher effort. Among the better efforts here is the film's solid and overall effective presentation that evokes an old-school genre effort it tries to emulate. Not only is the central storyline here incredibly effective at setting up this atmosphere but it's also the visual ideas of what's going on that provide a lot of fine work to bring that about. The setup to the film, involving the idea of the murders striking the residents of the town who are set around the investigation into the initial disappearance of her father which she witnessed years ago, sets everything in motion rather well as the dwindling bodies strike as a fine way to bring about the police investigation into the murders who discover the connection with these events. As well, it's also rather obviously old-school cheese and presentation that helps to make this feel far more old-school than it otherwise would, ranging from the washed-out fuzz and grain that emulates the VHS-style look from that period, the purposefully off-kilter lip-syncing that makes everything feel post-dubbed, and a wholesale presentation with its editing that brings up that look rather effectively. The other effective aspect of this one is the great series of stalking scenes here that show the killer in action. With the initial attack showing off the great mask and brutality on display elsewhere throughout here, those become rather fun here such as the chase through the seaside community, a great double-kill at a house where a couple are knocked off together, and a beach attack on another victim among others. Given some great cheesy gore and a nice bit of traditional stalking alongside the fine mask and presentation of the killer, this all has a lot to like here to set about the rather fun twist that comes about here trying to get the identity and motivation of the killer revealed. All of these come together quite well to make this one quite enjoyable although there are a few issues with this one that do hold it down. Aside from the aforementioned personal preference for the overall presentation, the other issue here is the stuttering pace on display where this one brings about a series of storylines that don't need to be there. The interactions with the friend group who are trying to go about their lives are way too involved for what they should be, especially when it deals with who's dating who, and some of the issues with the bar scenes they hang out in also factor into this. As well, the lackluster investigation that's handled by incompetent officers who don't do anything a normal officer who does or acts like which just makes these scenes drag along at a frustrating clip trying to make sense of everything. Overall, these are the factors that bring it down.
Rated Unrated/R: Graphic Violence and Graphic Language.
