Child abuse is a very serious and important issue to talk about so I appreciate the chosen subject but the story is really incoherent, the acting is unforgettable and the 8 minute isn't enough for the plot to develop neither for any well thought-out message to be visualized. Some scenes very close to comical so sometimes it felt more like a tragicomedy than an actual tragedy. And if you - as a director - want to emphasize on the physical aspect of getting beaten, don't choose a spoon... it makes the whole effort laughable, use a belt or something similar. I can't suggest it to anyone. Look for something else, there are actual films and short film with a powerful message, acting and visual showing of this very actual and important subject. Try Lilja-4-ever, Song for a Raggy Boy, Domestic Violence, The Silence or ReMoved.

A short film saved by its powerful message. But, for the short time, for not very good acting, for the affair and the punishment - expression of frustrations , it is only a sketch . Not awful. But , obvious, it deserves be better.
