Although the movie is titled "Europe Raiders", the setting for the movie is based mostly in Italy, rather than across the continent.
Although this movie was billed as the 3rd and final installment in the "Raiders" movie series (i.e. after "Tokyo Raiders" in 2000 and "Seoul Raiders" in 2005), this movie is not a sequel at all for either of its two predecessors, having a completely different storyline and premise altogether. Even its protagonist (played by Tony Leung) has a different name in this movie (i.e. Lin Zai Feng) compared to "Tokyo" and "Seoul" (who went by the name of Lin Gui Ren or Lam Kwai Yan).
