Might appeal to those who are in a seasoned relationship. This is not a movie for spectacular acting or deep storyline. It does flirt with rather substantive relationship issues which I wish the writers had explored JUST a little further. However, the movie certainly generates enough interest in the characters and their lives. This gives an insight into how removing day to day issues & responsibilities that typically consume our lives, might actually lead to re-igniting THE spark of initial courtship; AND how when these issues creep back in, those hurt feelings from fights/arguments can return very quickly to destructively weigh down the relationship. And a shoutout to Peter Fonda who does a good job playing a somewhat lovable character. In summary, this is a movie to cuddle up to with your significant other which will put a wry smile on your faces when the credits start rolling.

My wife and I were disappointed in this film. The acting wasn't very good and the story had holes in it. The game was to tell the other person something to do that they can't say no to but if you didn't do it you just lost the game. Doesn't lead to much suspense. Near the end, she says she has one more question but none of the others where questions so that was odd. The 3 way scene was just uncomfortable and there were way too many body scars that made no sense in the story. We paid $3.99 to rent this and felt we wasted 1 hour and 30 minutes and $3.99. Our advice is watch anything else. Absolutely anything

Do yourself a favor and just enjoy the preview.
Most romcom's are somewhat relatable, this one: not so much. The reality is divorce is brutal. Lives are changed forever. Children suffer massive emotional distress. The storyline used here uses a caviler approach to normalize infidelity and divorce through comedy and pseudo-irony, and it's completely unrealistic-so much that actors have a hard time accessing emotion necessary to portray the screenwriting which leaves us confused at multiple points along the timeline.
Additionally, the role of the two children-who conveniently just "get" how divorce and separation work- seem like afterthoughts in the writing process by only being included in two or three scenes near the beginning of the film.
If you're the type content with solving the world's struggles in a half hour before dinner, this is totally for you. For the rest of us realistic folks, don't waste your time.

Not a masterpeice but worth watching. Good, sometimes clever script. Interesting, well developed, surprising characters. Peter Fonda was great.

The wife and I watched what we thought was going to be a light hearted romcom. We totally weren't expecting the LSD-taking, ball shaving, threesome smut-fest that ensued. Absolutely fantastic. Put us right in the mood. Only 9 stars as the chemistry between the two leads dipped at times.

OK, so the acting wasn't top notch, but the story and sentiment were pretty good. All relationships have ups and downs, but the message of hope, mixed with the main characters' desire to rekindle lost feelings, was a positive one. I found myself hoping he didn't stray again with the hot girl he met even though the outcome was predictable. Rating reflects the formulaic approach, but overall I enjoyed this RomCom.
I loved this film. It's warm and funny without ever being sappy or schmaltzy or sentimental. My wife and I agreed that it's really the perfect "date night movie" for adults. If you've been with your partner for a while I bet you'll relate to this movie, which is a little bit deeper than the poster and promo material make it seem.

I enjoyed watching the movie.
It was light-hearted but still had a serious message about life and relationships. Having Peter Fonda play the dad was great to see as well.
No gripes about the music. The scenery was excellent. I have no clue why so many people gave this a 1 rating. Can only guess they have a grievance they want to take out on the movie.
It is not a must see but it is worth watching for sure.

Great story with a great cast. Can't wait for it to be released in a little over a week so I can see it again and again.

I was lucky enough to catch this at SXSW and it's so much fun. I've loved Peter Fonda since I first saw 'Easy Rider' and he's still a delight in this as the wise-cracking dad. It's a fun romp but with a deeper story and a real heart. I'd never seen Hus Miller in anything before but I thought he was really convincing in the male lead. I've got a major crush on Margarite Moreau from 'The Wet Hot American Summer' series on Netflix and she's great in this as the female lead. This is the kind of movie where you leave the kids with the babysitter and go see it on a date night. You walk out feeling a sense of the possibilities of renewed love. I wish there were more movies like this around.

I loved this Movie! A fun and light hearted movie about a very important subject...Marriage and love! The setting was beautiful , especially if you are familar with the Northern California wine area.
Great to see Peter Fonda in a film again. He has always been one of my favorite actors. Great acting by Marquerite Moreau, Hamish Linklater and Hus Miller. A very good date night movie and a refreshing ending.
Grab your popcorn and a good glass of California wine and enjoy!!

This is a solid film, funny, sweet and timely, well-conceived and well-acted, with beautiful cinematography featuring California's Sonoma County. Dialogue feels natural and improvised at times, with an exquisite supporting role by legendary Peter Fonda as an eccentric, aging nudist parent. The film has strokes of mastery and restraint, feels contemporary but has an old school pacing reminiscent of early Linklater and 1980s Schepisi, chanelling 1950s Hitchcock. Keep an eye on Hus Miller.

My husband and I enjoyed this film. Some beautiful scenes in what looked like the Napa Valley area in California, with plenty of picturesque scenery, and a really great tree house too (was this a real tree house, or a set?). A lot of the locations in this film looked similar to the recent comedy film 'Wine Country'. After viewing this film, I am bugging my husband to shave, but I'm not so sure he is willing to risk it!
Well written movie that explores the struggles of marriage with humor and honesty. Set amongst the beautiful Sonoma County scenery the movie explores a couples journey to learn about each other.
Had a group of friends over for a viewing party last night. Everyone loved this movie, even the non-romantic type. Humor interspersed in a great story line. Loved the relaxed acting and local scenery as well. This is a don't miss movie! I'm going to watch it again.
