It's MUCH better than what everyone says it is

Everyone says the beginning is pretty boring and it is, but that can be easily solved with the lets reads on Youtube. starting in Act 3 you can have a blast reading the comic. It gets better the more further you go in the comic if you exclude the first act of Act 6, except that can be also solved with the lets reads. For 95% percent of the story will be entertaining.

PLus the most diverse cast in a while

While I really do not like the sequel stuff, the original is still fun

I came into this one similarly to how the Angry Video Game Nerd got into Power Rangers: through a very misguided series of experiences.

Much like how the AVGN thought that Power Rangers was just a dumb show made to be popular, I thought that this one was a female-centric property that I wouldn't enjoy that much.

Luckily, I was very wrong. Just like the AVGN in the previous example, I did not expect there to be as many good fights as there were. And my mind was completely blown hearing MEGALOVANIA years early. Subjectively, I'd rate this one a ten despite some confusing plot threads that never really get resolved. Partially because some of them only get answered in the sequel, which I think, at least in its early years, is the worst thing I have seen related to something listed on this website.

This brings back so much memories!

This brings back so many memories, I love the fans who found this. I hear that the opening is floating around on Youtube, with some beautiful music. I think the opening theme was called either Skies of Skaia, Beatdown, Ohgodwhat, Revelawsome, or White. Either way, it was beautiful to watch, to listen, and to geek out about. I really met some cool people in the Omegapause. Even though we all went crazy. -_-

    life changing

This webcomic changed my life forever. It's the reason I met my best friend, it made me happier than anything and the only bad thing it ever did for me is make me have an addiction to spending money on merch. Homestuck made me confident enough to express myself and feel confident in my identity as a queer person and someone considered weird. I related to so many characters and it contains amazing story, humour and colorful, morally gray characters with amazing stories each. I love Dirk, Dave and Karkat especially right now and it's definitely worth the read or listen. I'd suggest listening to the Nexus voice over because even for me it took me 9 months to finish.

Nice plot and a colorful cast of characters

I love this comic and it's characters. The only things holding it back from 5 stars is some of the writing and how some characters were handled, like how I can't remember a time that john was plot relevant since act 3, AND HE'S THE PROTAGONIST! But other then that I have no issues with the webcomic. Homestuck will forever be a classic and I am trying to cram in as many references as possible into my vocabulary.
