After missing out on Dadley Productions' first short, Roller Coaster, I was beyond excited to finally get a chance to see one of the films from this dynamic father/daughter duo (Bradley and Sarah Hawkins). Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! This film will have you laughing from beginning to end. It's no surprise that the film has already scooped up awards for screenplay, directing, acting, editing, and the score and I'm sure it will be picking up many more. The original score fits perfectly with what is going on visually. Jared Odrick (Kevin) and Karl Holtz (Mike) are brilliant in their roles. You would never know this is their first time on film! Alex Pires (Patrick) is comic gold. This is definitely a film that you do not want to miss. I can't wait to see what's in store next for Dadley Productions!
If you like comedy, Filling In is a must see! Jared Odrick is great in his role of tooth fairy in training. Larger than life! Karl Holt is wonderful as the grizzled veteran tooth fairy and Alex Peris is just plain funny! Everything about this movie is fun! Entertainng the whole way through. The photography, special effects, music and script all blend to make this a truly enjoyable experience that leaves you wanting more! Looking forward to what's next with this story and Dadley Productions! 2 thumbs way up!!
I had the opportunity to take my family to see "Filling In" and we LOVED it! The film is a comedy-fantasy short film by award-winning director Bradley Hawkins (Roller Coaster) that will keep you smiling from beginning to end. This lighthearted story follows Kevin (Jared Odrick and Mike (Karl Holtz), two equally intimidating men as they attempt to work together in their highly unusual profession. The dialogue is quite funny, but you may actually laugh more at some of the visual humor. Either way, you'll laugh a lot. And keep an eye out for "Patrick" the receptionist (Alex Pires) in a very humorous role. Composer Jim Casella's original score captures the whimsical nature of the film perfectly. Perhaps most important, this movie will answer some of your most burning childhood questions. Enjoy!
After seeing the teaser trailer a couple of months ago, I was instantly excited to view the full film and pleased that it premiered so close to my home. The concept of a larger than life tooth fairy is visual comedy gold, and the various roles were inhabited by individuals who committed to the parts. The creative camera angles of the film added to the concept in a unique way. The editing must have been difficult, but appeared flawless. The musical score, which has already won an award, set the tone for the entire film and helped to suck the viewer into the magical world created by Hawkins. This sophomore production was well worth the price of admission and cannot be more highly recommended by this viewer.

I was unsure what to expect based on the short trailer to the movie. The film immediately draws you in during the first scene and continues to take unexpected turns throughout the movie. Jared Odrick did a fabulous job, as did the other actors. It was an enjoyable experience and I look forward to seeing more from this cast.
