Trivia

Frank and Ava

Edit
The last on screen feature film appearance by legendary actor Harry Dean Stanton.
Katherine Helmond's final film.
Among the locations used for "Frank and Ava" was Sinatra's Palm Springs estate, "Twin Palms", which features included two large palm trees flanking a piano-shaped swimming pool, an original Valentino sound recording system, and a sink in the master bathroom bearing a crack from a champagne bottle that Frank threw at Ava during one of their legendary brawls. (The latter was incorporated into the story by the film makers once they discovered the "damage".)
The film feature academy award winner Shirley Jones, whom Sinatra worked with on "Carousel" before walking off and being replaced, as well as Oscar nominated actresses, Katherine Helmond and Terry Moore. The film also features the legendary Harry Dean Stanton, who worked on the film less than a year before he passed away, as well as Robert Christopher, who after unsuccessfully auditioning for the "Maggio" role that eventually won Sinatra an Oscar, went on to work with Ava Gardner in "The Barefoot Contessa".
Dione Warwick who sings one of tracks in "Frank and Ava" not only knew Sinatra but also shares his birthday, December 12th.
