Rodger Corser in Doctor Doctor (2016)

Trivia

Doctor Doctor

Edit
Filming took place in Mudgee, the same town in the Central West of New South Wales in which the movie "The Nugget" was filmed; except for all of the hospital scenes, which were filmed in Rozelle, an inner-city suburb in the inner west of Sydney.
A $11.6 million-dollar Australian production that brought 800 new jobs to the Sydney and Mudgee communities.
The theme song is a cover version of the American band Canned Heat's song "Going Up the Country", performed by Patience Hodgson of the Australian indie/alternative rock band The Grates. It is not available for international airings of the series, as the opening theme is replace with the same instrumental music used over the end credits.
The second series, after "Rush", in which Nicole Da Silva and Rodger Corser star together.
Inspiration for the series came from discussions that Tony McNamara had with lawyers who talked with him about the Impaired Registrants Program, a practice operated by the Medical Council of New South Wales, which seeks to ensure that medical practitioners are fit for practice, and in doing so, the program manages doctors who suffer from psychiatric illness, self-administration of drugs, alcohol abuse, and physical illness.
