Edit
This film was made for the Charlotte, NC 48 Hour Film Project. The film's required elements were Mary Zickean - chef trainee, a set of keys, the line of dialogue "That's not what I said," and the use of one or both genres of fable and Romance.
This is the 13th 48 hour film project that Firmament Films has participated in.
The idea for the first half of this film is inspired by two works: a 6 panel comic strip T.C. De Witt drew in 2008 and a Twilight Zone episode called Button Button starring Mare Winningham and Brad Davis.
The film was the third 48 hour film of 2016 for the Firmament/Redacted team and was the third consecutive winner of Best Picture for the city (Charlotte).
Filmed on location in De Witt and Halvorsen's home town of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
