James Buckley, Ed Westwick, and Joe Thomas in White Gold (2017)

Trivia

White Gold

Edit
Creator Damon Beesley's father was a double glazing salesman.
Filming on the second series of the sitcom was halted in November 2017 after star Ed Westwick was accused of sexual assault by three women in the United States. The actor strongly denied the accusations and in July 2018 the Los Angeles District Attorney announced that it would not pursue the cases due to insufficient evidence. Filming on series two resumed in November 2018 and the six-part series was released BBC Two in early 2019.
The window shop scenes were shot in Basildon, Essex.
Created, written and directed by Damon Beesley, who co-wrote The Inbetweeners (2008), this series reunites two of the Inbetweeners, James Buckley and Joe Thomas, who play vaguely similar characters (Buckley's is crude and Thomas' is more sensitive) who also often bicker with each other.
In episode 2 of series 1, the actor Joe Thomas (Lavender) had been out on the lash the night before so was very hungover during the scene where Brendan is asking for the address for the bay window front door job in Tilbury.
