Though she does not expect to be the producer for the job, Candy has already begun work on a sequel movie script. She even titled it, "Another Second Chance".
Brian M. Boyce (Rick Wallace) first met Candy J. Beard in the fall of 2011 when he was working as a newspaper reporter for The Terre Haute Tribune Star. Brian was the first reporter to interview Candy when she first began making films and was filming her feature film ("In a Cage"). He had never let on that he wanted to try his hand at acting, until she began casting in 2016 for the role of Rick in "A Second Chance."
Juli Tapken won a Best Supporting Actress award at the Branson International Film Festival in 2019 for her portrayal of single mom Adrienne Fairbanks. She was unable to attend, but Candy J. Beard was present and accepted the award on her behalf and gave an acceptance speech for Juli as well.
