In addition to using Schneider Cine Xenon lenses aged from the 1950-60's, an Angenieux 18.5mm wide lens was used to mimic the look of Orson Welles' Touch of Evil.
Principal photography was 9 days.
Working title during pre-production was A Few in the Crowd. This was inspired by Elia Kazan's movie A Face in the Crowd.
