This is a movie that brings you into a simple and beautiful world with a light touch of humor and justice. Enjoyed the Italian scenery and locations, and the characters created by the writer and actors. There are perhaps some stereotypes as the story moves along, but it never felt low budget or dismissive of its characters. Especially enjoyed the colorful opening scenes in the lingerie "factory" and the views in the convent, and around the water. Had to do some research to find this was all shot in or near the province of Rovigo in Northern Italy. Husband and I both enjoyed! Would be fine for most families.
