Chemistry 101

Edit
Chemistry 101 was filmed at the director's alma mater, John Carroll, in the room where he took chemistry.
This short is dedicated to the director's friend from the same High School, Jane Chrismer. The very last credit at the end of Chemistry 101 denoting this includes a framed picture of Jane and a Prom poster featuring a red polka-dotted dress and suit with a red polka-dotted bow tie. The framed picture was chosen by one of Jane's closest friends.
The heart wipe at 'The End' is an homage to the Looney Tunes signature closing sequence with color rings: 'That's All Folks!'
Josh Pickett, lead singer of The Stifled from Baltimore, Maryland provided the original track for the end credits. He was asked make something akin to Green Day; something that you would hear in one of the teen 'rom-coms' from the 90's and early 2000's.
Josh Pickett, lead singer of The Stifled from Baltimore, Maryland and director Mike Reft graduated high school together and became best friends during Maryland's annual Senior Week in 2007.
