The Weeknd and Grant Singer in The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk: Starboy (2016)

Trivia

The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk: Starboy

Edit
Several cars that were mentioned in the lyrics appear in the video, including the Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster, about which Weeknd sings in the second verse: "Pull off in that Roadster SV / Pockets overweight, getting hefty".
"Starboy" was released after the announcement of the album, which, along with the cover of the album, was presented the day before.
In terms of text content, it includes topics of extravagance associated with the lifestyle of celebrities, as well as a discussion of how such a way of life can make an actor vulnerable.
The music video for the song was shot by the permanent collaborator Grant Singer, who shot the previous Weekend music videos on "Can not Feel My Face" and "The Hills".
The video was described as an attempt by a singer to kill his former / old character - probably notifying himself that he was reinventing himself with his new album, choking himself, cutting off his old hair and destroying his platinum records placed behind the glass in the frame.
