Poison Rouge said she chose to show lead actor Roberto Scorza nude since so many other horror films traditionally focus on female nudity. But she ended up receiving a lot of negative reactions because of it.
It was originally written as comedy horror, but Poison Rouge changed the comedy elements into a dark tale and the lead role from female to male after she was brought on to direct.
Directorial debut of Italian model, body builder and actress Poison Rouge. Producer Domiziano Cristopharo asked her to direct it because he was busy on the set of the feature Torment (2017). Before asking her to direct, he had asked her to replace the lead character, which was originally a woman. Rouge decided to focus on directing only.
Production was delayed due to actresses and actors quitting before production.
