This was a low budget movie more about infidelity more than racial profiling. The acting was horrendous and reminiscent of those street DVD hood movies. The plot was great however it was ruined by the lack of budget and real actors.

The acting, script, and directing leave much to be desired.

The cover art may be the best quality of this production and despite the 'rave' reviews obviously posited by contributors to this movie, the viewer must not ignore that the portrayal of law enforcement officers is not even a portrayal of actual human behavior. This is Pravda - meets social justice - meets Ed Wood in its intent, and an audition reel for The Bad Actors Studio. While this movie so badly wants to be deep ~ it just leaves behind a big empty hole.

Technical production is abysmal with very low-skilled cinematography and amateur lighting acumen. The entire sound production from location through post exhibits poor planning, poor execution and very poor technical expertise.

Of course most of the above defects can be overlooked if there is a compelling narrative and the screen writing is exceptional. In this case though, the screen writer, the director, the producers and the production crew should bar themselves from ever working in this medium again. Amazon eviscerates its Prime Video brand with content like this.

This movie has many many many flaws, the biggest being the audio mixing. You'll find yourself adjusting the volume several times throughout the film, talking to quiet, music at inappropriate times. The plot was a mess, jumping between timelines that gave no real explanation. The ending felt forced and acting was hard to take. Save the hour and get that sleep you need.

I could only stomach 20 minutes of this racist tirade from the so called "rent a cop" scenario. The entire plot was so easy to surmise and everything about this movie was low budget. I wanted to try and finish it, but it wasn't worth it. I have no idea how it received 10 out of 10 stars from others because it was pointless from the get go. Don't bother wasting your time on this one.

I should kick myself for wasting 20 minutes of my life on this garbage. I seem to always fall for reviews that speak so glowingly about a film. I guess I'll never learn. Stay away from this trash movie.The reviews must have been written by family members and the cast themselves. BEWARE!!!

Halt really surprised me. I found the set up and execution of this story incredibly engaging and the overall theme is very timely. It made me think alot about what I've read and seen all over the media these days and I really applaud the filmmakers for making such a bold film. There were many twists I did not see coming, and I always am impressed with that. Bravo to this cast and crew! Highly Recommend.

A poor rehearsed college grade , liberal agenda ,satire . Don't believe me just watch the film

Halt is centered around two life-altering traffic stops. In the past, an innocent black man is shot and killed by a white cop. In the present, that same cop is on duty with a black rookie cop when they pull over a black couple and things get out of control yet again. The film is a complex story that deals head on with police violence and racism. It's a bold telling of a story about revenge and justice and I can't think of a more timely subject. Halt also has many twists and turns, some of which I really did not see coming. The film also reminds me a bit of the Best Picture winner, Crash. I highly recommend Halt to anyone, particularly anyone looking for an unrestrained story about one of today's biggest issues.

This isn't so much a review as a statement to all those dopes who watch a movie foe 20 min. and then write a negative review. Stop wasting space with your nonesense. You are not real movie fans just a bunch of clowns who think they know cinema but really don't know a thing.

I tried, I really did try to find something nice to say about the compilation of this film but I couldn't come up with anything. If it were put together by someone who knew what they were doing it has the bones to be something. Better luck next time.

Did the people leaving the glowing reviews actually watch this movie?

For the record. I only watched about 40 minutes. Totally unrealistic, propaganda. Don't waste your time on divisive crap like this.

All I can say is that there is no doubt in my mind that the people who've given this a high rating/good review are the people who created and were cast in this train wreck. I'm completely disgusted.

An impressive take on another aspect of the 'Crash' story. A gripping tale, which keeps you engaged and leaves you wanting more. Recommended.

Bad acting, low quality. I was sick of it 15 mins into the movie but the trooper in me watched the whole thing. Don't bother please.

The movie was a twister.Had you in the edge of your seat..Writing was done with major creativity. Cinematographer showed our city of Detroit as something up and coming beautiful highlights of the city. Would definitely see it again

I enjoyed this movie so much! The storyline is so REAL. I loved the twists and turns. This movie held my attention which is hard to do. I wanted more. EVERYTHING about this film was Awesome and I'm looking forward to more films from Coattail Entertainment. Thank you for this great film.

This movie touches on so many aspects of racial profiling. It was made at the right time. The twist will defitnely get u. Worth the watch

From the first part of the movie to the final twist, I was on the edge of my seat. It perfectly captures how an African-American lives his everyday life. I used to be very racist and was a klansmen but this movie gave me a change of heart. I really relate to the main character and I really believe in his points of view. This was a life changing experience which changed my life for the better. I believe I'll be able to fit in better with the black community. If you enjoy intense police thrillers, this one is a must watch. With all the great cinematography and incredible sound design I am absolutely dying to see the sequel which I'm sure will be just as good if not better. However tip for the sequel, it could do with less black people and more normal Americans. Alas, still 10/10. Hope you enjoy

This film was amazing! The writer was able to seamlessly/successfully hit multiple elements of emotion. This film was not predictable or borning at any point, so it was enjoyable throughout. There was a stong plot, a good clear message and a nice follow through. This movie was full of suspicion, suspense, twists and turns, then even a splash of comedy in the appropriate places. I loved this movie, and I would definitely watch it again. This is a film is a MUST SEE!!! A phenomenal work!!!

This was such a good film! How a simple traffic stop starts to spiral out of control and... every person's worse nightmare that comes to life. I really enjoyed the two lead actors. They did such a good job. The one cop was creepy as _____. Actually I thought all the acting was good. I very much enjoyed the story and directing. I was entertained and that's what I look for in a film.

Really good story line. Horrible audio. Had to constantly adjust volume. Filming was terrible. There were glares, horrible angles, and shaky camera scenes. Felt like it was filmed by high school students and it was the draft. Acting was okay. Could of been a good movie if it had a better budget.
