Andrew and Carly, two scientists at a NASA satellite location in the middle of nowhere, wake up to a strange signal: aliens are trying to make contact with Earth. Before they can figure out what to do, they meet the severe and unnamed General who arrives to let them know that the world of alien-watching is much larger than they thought.

Andrew and Carly discover that the small, shack-like office they'd been working out of is just a front for a much larger and more technologically advanced bunker staffed by high-level people who have been monitoring aliens for years. This is the room that will decide how we communicate with the aliens or, alternately, how we kill them.

Now that we've decided we won't be killing the aliens, it's time to decide what we say to them. What message can we craft that says "We are a peaceful people/please don't eat us" with any kind of eloquence? Also, the president of the United States shows up.

Now that Carly has leaked the existence of aliens to the rest of the world, she and Andrew have been officially kicked out of the bunker and have resorted to watching the rest of the world react on TV. But the aliens have one more message for Andrew and Carly...

The aliens are coming! The aliens are coming! The aliens are coming! Andrew and Carly and back in the game because the aliens are coming straight to their office!
