I started watching this several times, then when I finally did see the entire movie, I was amazed I had not finished it before. Unlike the typical Hallmark formula, this one takes place over a year. There is no 3 day romance and engagement, it is more like what happens in real life versus the movies. The biggest - and BEST - difference was the humour in it. It honestly was one of the funniest Hallmark's ever, while keeping a touching love story as part too.
The lead characters really made the movie, but I will say at first Casey Manderson did not appeal to me, it did not take long for this to change. Laura Bell Bundy and Kaylan Miles as her friend, were both hilarious.
There are pieces that did not make sense, like the sister just popping in the story and then never seen again at the end, and the mean corporate lady who was not in the story enough to really be concerned about her. But the story and ending are worth pushing through the first ten minutes.

PLEASE BEWARE OF SOME REVIEWERS THAT ONLY HAVE ONLY ONE REVIEW. WHEN ITS A POSITIVE THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THEY WERE INVOLVED WITH THE PRODUCTION. NOW I HAVE NO AGENDA! I REVIEW MOVIES & SPECIALS AS A WAY TO KEEP TRACK OF WHAT I HAVE SEEN! I HAVE DISCOVERED MANY GEMS IN MY QUEST TO SEE AS MANY " C H R I S T M A S " MOVIES AS I CAN.
Now Someone keeps reporting my reviews. I guess they are jealous because I do tell the truth. I want to point out that I never make snide remarks about actors weight or real life sexual orientation. If there acting is terrible or limited "I talk about that". If a story is bad "I will mention that" So why am I being "picked on"? IMDB? When one of my reviews gets deleted IMDB will not even tell me what someone found offensive. Well on to this review.
In this film Darcy Blake has 3 things on her Christmas list; keep writing loveable cards, don't take in any more cats and fall in love with the perfect guy.
What is not on her list a corporate shake up, several new cats and an inconvenient crush on her handsome new boss.
Darcy is a very nice and likable person. She gets along fine with her boss and her co-workers. However with new leadership the beloved Greeting Card Company she works for is now going through a transition and she is afraid what made everything great about the company will soon be gone forever.
A very likable film. The cast is great. The story is a tad predictable but "The film is very good" and you can't help but smile all the way through!
Give it a try!

Don't get me wrong. This is a very cute movie and has a great plot, covering all the holidays especially Christmas. However, Darcy is so annoying. Her childish behaviours and those of her colleagues would not be tolerated in an actual workplace. As well, Darcy is just annoying person. Her acting skills are a bit much. A little subtlety can go along way. Also, she reminds me a little of the Grinch Who Stole Xmas.
Season's greetings truly portrays how feelings and heart felt messages count even in today's digital material world. Although digital apps are widely used today to connect, and convey the same message, a greeting card is just tangible. It conveys the talent, emotion, passion and art of an artist which can be touched and felt.
The Holiday card made by Will Harrington for his grandfather as a kid reminds me of the cards my 5 year old daughter makes for me. I have also started saving her cards now in my keepsakes. She'll feel so grateful for this when she grows up.

- GoofsAfter Darcy and Will's morning meeting, when Will comes back to his office, with shaving cream on his face, it full thick layer of shaving cream on his face. When you see him speaking to Darcy, and in the close up, the shaving cream has significantly thinned out, and then as Darcy is backing out of the office, it is once again a thick layer of shaving cream on his face.
- Crazy creditsDuring the end credits, there are two greeting card animations--one the Darcy character and the other representing Will.
