The night before principle photography around 1:30 am the two lead actresses that were cast months before shooting had bailed. The producers decided to cast the backup options. It was a blessing in disguise both actresses were superb and had trained in theater.
The DP a had bailed the week before the shoot.
On set the lead actor Michael Halac had a nicotine fit and stormed off set, the last scene was shot with producer Abraham Munoz. Abe had a gray tank top, Michael was wearing a white one. Abe is significantly bigger then Michael, so the decision was to shoot his eye instead of the body.
The film pays homage to legendary horror films, like Halloween '78 Psycho '60 and a majority of teen slashers from the 80s.
Ground sausage was used for Michael's neck, replacing his Adams apple.
