In this short picture there are many signs of foreshadowing hidden in the production design. The director felt it was necessary to build an environment around the type of characters in the scene and the actions that go on in the scenes. There was a mixture of certain colors, placement of items and props to help sell the idea.
There are plenty of hidden rap lyrics from underground and old school hip hop artist in the dialogue. This picture was actually generated from a skit at the end of a hip hop song by the band "hieroglyphics"
The actors are positioned from left to right ranking the more dominant characters to the less dominant characters. The director and cinematographer took advantage of using the frame to help explain the statuses between the characters.
