The film got shelved after Rafi Kazi suffered a heart attack .The film faced financial issues because the distributor's were after his uncle Tony Walker to return their money as the film got stuck halfway.
director Shahjahan was an assistant of Mukul Anand before turning director co incidentally Mukul Anand was also shooting in Nepal for Khuda Gawah 1992 while this film was being shot out there.
Salman Khan and producer Rafi Kazi were childhood friends.
Somy Ali was to debut with this film.
