Hank Williams Jr.’s 22-year-old son bridges the gap between astrology and Americana with this nuanced, nocturnal-sounding anthem about humans’ dual nature. “I’ve been a jailbird, I’ve been a scholar; turned a pure Catholic girl into the devil’s daughter,” he sings over stomp-clap percussion and a minor-key chord progression,...

Adele is saying "hello" to 31 and she's more than ready for it. The Grammy-winning singer wrote a reflective and hopeful Instagram post on Sunday, her 31st birthday. She shared a series of black-and-white photos from a New Years' Eve bash where she partied with friends, channeled her inner Twiggy with her makeup and had the time of her life. Choosing these images to pair with her birthday post adds a whole other layer of meaning to the phrase "new year, new you." Just like most of her songs, the "Someone Like You" artist did not hold back when it came to letting her feelings be known and how she truly feels. "This is 31...thank f--king god," she began....

We could have had it all...but we simply prefer one epic meme. Nearly two weeks after news broke that Adele had split from her longtime love Simon Konecki, the "Someone Like You" singer seemingly broke her silence today by posting a meme of herself to Instagram, of course. "When you catch yourself in your feelings then you remember who you are," the Brit, 30, wrote above two opposing images, one of herself crying and another of her displaying her usual cheeky confidence. Despite ending their eight year romance, there's no bad blood between Adele and the 45-year-old, who share son Angelo, 6. "They had a lot in common early...

Jennifer Kaytin Robinson was sobbing in front of a row of rotisserie chickens. Standing dumbfounded in the aisle of a New York grocery store after her boyfriend dumped her, she heard Adele’s “Someone Like You” come over the sound system — and “I was trying to smile through it, but then I was smiling and crying, and I truly looked insane,” she remembers. She knew she wanted a version of that memory to star in Someone Great.

TikTok is the first buzzy app to make me feel really, truly old, which sucks for more reasons than the growing realizations that come with aging: TikTok is simply unavoidable now. If you’re on Twitter, you probably see the app’s Vine-like videos retweeted on your timeline at least once a day. On Instagram, your friends have most likely posted some of their favorites TikToks to their stories. The app is currently serving as a sort of meme incubator, producing videos and in-jokes that become internet lingua franca in a matter of days,...

Hello from the other side! Adele made a rare public appearance on Friday when she stepped out for a date night with her husband Simon Konecki. The two were spotted arriving backstage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for Elton John's tour: Farewell Yellow Brick Road. The "Someone Like You" singer stunned in a colorful, patterned ensemble. She accessorized her look with hoop earrings and black heels and tucked her hair back into a chic and sophisticated bun. It's no surprise Adele would want to attend Elton's big show. After all, the two seemed to have formed a close connection. The "Skyfall" star told Vogue Elton reached out to her before she had...

Hello, it's Adele...or is it June Carter Cash? We can't tell! On Tuesday, the British singer channeled her inner country queen by dressing up as the one and only June Carter Cash and we are shook. In the photo that the actress shared on Instagram it's clear that not only does Adele admire the "Jackson" singer but she knows exactly how to embody her with both her hair and costume choices. The "Someone Like You" singer is almost unrecognizable dressed as the legendary country artist from her brunette locks to her vintage-inspired lavender dress. It's unreal how Adele is able to completely change her look and become singers that anyone would recognize with a little makeup and wardrobe...

It was absolute carnage on “The Voice” Tuesday night, when coaches Blake Shelton, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine were forced to cut their teams in half. Now, we want to know who You think was cut prematurely from Season 15? Vote in our poll below. And be sure to read through our own power rankings for the remaining 13 singers.

S— just got real on The Voice. In Monday’s jam-packed episode, all 24 members of Teams Blake Shelton, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine sang for a spot in the Top 12 — or, rather, the Top 13 since a contestant from The Comeback Stage (probably Lynnea Moorer) would also be winning a place in the lineup on Tuesday.
Prior to watching the performances, I imagined that the vocalists who’d advance would be (in alphabetical order): Dave Fenley, Natasia GreyCloud, Patrique Fortson, Sarah Grace, Kennedy Holmes, Kirk Jay, Kymberli Joye, Chris Kroeze, Michael Lee, Radha, SandyRedd and Reagan Strange. But then,...

Kate McKinnon’s Jeff Sessions said goodbye to the White House in a Saturday Night Live cold open that followed the now-former Attorney General’s resignation from the Trump administration. The sketch also featured Robert De Niro reprising his portrayal of Robert Mueller.
“I don’t understand how Mr. Trump can replace me with Matt Whitaker,” McKinnon’s defeated Sessions said. “He’s just a shady businessman with no experience who’s blindly loyal to Donald Trump… okay hearing it out loud, it makes sense.”
“Sessions” then packed up his belongings from his office,...

This week’s cold open for Saturday Night Live strayed away from the midterm elections from earlier this week and decided to focus on Jeff Sessions leaving his post as Attorney General. Giving her spot-on Smeagol-meets-southern-fried-Keebler elf impression of Session was Kate McKinnon — with a couple of other old favorites bidding him adieu.
As Sarah Huckabee Sanders (Aidy Bryant) came into Sessions’ office to say goodbye, he popped out from under the desk to say that he was waiting to give his replacement, Matthew Whitaker, a scare.
“I don’t understand how Mr. Trump could replace me,” said Sessions about his departure. “That Whitaker is just a businessman with no experience who is blindly loyal to Donald Trump…okay, hearing that out loud, it makes sense.”
As he packs up his office, Sessions reminisces. He holds a bible saying how he used the good book to justify “a lot of bad things” he has done.

‘SNL': De Niro’s Robert Mueller Thanks Jeff Sessions for All His Help With the Investigation (Video)
The cold open for the Nov. 10 episode of “SNL” saw Kate McKinnon bring back her impersonation of former U.S. attorney general Jeff Sessions for what might be the last time — with Sessions clearing out his office and saying goodbye to everybody. Including Robert Mueller, played once again by Robert De Niro.
The sketch saw appearances by other “SNL” cast members Aidy Bryant as Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Beck Bennett as Mike Pence, and Mikey Day and Alex Moffat as Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.
Alec Baldwin did not make an in-person appearance as Donald Trump, though at one point McKinnon’s Sessions did dance around the room with a picture of Baldwin as Trump while singing “Someone Like You” by Adele.
As he was packing his things, Sessions waxed nostalgic for his time in office while referencing various items that he was packing up. Like his Bible (“I justified...

After Jeff Sessions tendered his resignation as attorney general earlier this week, Kate McKinnon portrayed him for presumably the last time on the Nov. 10 episode of “Saturday Night Live.” While post-arrest Alec Baldwin was still absent as Donald Trump, Robert De Niro returned as Robert Mueller to send off the former Depart of Justice employee.
In a cold open sketch for the episode that featured “Ray Donovan” star Liev Schreiber as host and Lil Wayne as the musical guest, McKinnon, decked out in her combover wig, prosthetic ears and suit with red tie, popped out from underneath the desk in a set designed to look like Sessions’ former office. Aidy Bryant as Sarah Huckabee Sanders pointed out that it was Matthew Whitaker’s office now, to which McKinnon as Sessions replied that it was hard to fathom why the president would hire such a man.
