    Conflicted opinion

So much is not right about this movie. And yet ..... I binge watched to the end.

What's not right: The story revolves around hazing (institutionalized bullying), and excuses it as being helpful to the 'freshies' who have to go through it. It is very slow. Plot lines tend to be slender and overly drawn out. The acting is not the greatest. One of the two leads seems to have only two expressions for most of the episodes - adding a third only towards the end. All of the young cast have pale flawless complexions, which might be a requirement in Thai films, but is hardly realistic. and the photography, with its elevated black levels, emphasizes this, producing many washed out looking scenes. And, especially annoying, the occasional "boiiing" on the soundtrack. This is the sort of sound effect that used to be found in some early 30s shorts and cartoons. I've noticed that it also features often in Philippine tv broad farce sketches today - probably to tell the audience they're seeing something funny. As I don't understand Thai, I cannot be sure why these sounds are being added here. But if they are there to indicate a joke, it suggests that the writing or acting are not good enough to carry the joke themselves. The English subtitles don't offer any clues as to why the effects are there. Fortunately they are not too loud - but still an annoying distraction.

What works: It's about two young men who fall for each other - still a refreshing theme. All the other plots are very secondary. The leads are both good looking, and do have a chemistry. You're wanting them to get together. Longing, yearning for them to finally break down the barriers that are keeping them apart.

So, yes, I was sucked in, waiting for that first kiss - and what followed.

    Unforgettable and Worth Repeating

If you're into fluff and cloud9 stories, but with life lessons in between, this is for you! Looks innocent enough, but before you know it, you're hooked! You can't stop watching until you finish the whole series. The story is fast-paced and realistic. Gives you the feeling that you want to know what will happen next ASAP! For some people, they would probably easily relate to this story. There are also scenes that will make you think twice about yourself. You can learn a lesson or two, especially for the younger generation. All the actors are good, even for newbies. Usually, I see awkward moments in this kind of stories, especially if the actors don't have much experience in acting, but this one had close to none! High-level giggling going on. Possible lip-biting and covering of eyes. Tears will flow a little bit. Overall, fun to watch. Caution: ADDICTING! You will find yourself rewatching before you can stop yourself.

    SLOW

The plot is just too slow, and dang... The act just so so.

    Best BL drama. Must watch.

I have never been so attached to a drama series. Thank you #Thailand and #GMMTV for being so bold in interpreting this genre. This will kickstart me in BL dramas. Gonna miss Arhit and Kong's cute moments. Sad :-(

Nice first season, missed opportunity on season 2

Nice love story and also nice to see the culture around universities in Thailand. Recommended. Only I felt they didn't take any chance for season 2 which is a repeat of the same formula of season 1 but set on the workplace. Also, it should be mentioned that the first 5 episodes of season 2 are extremely slow where nothing happens. On this season a male couple who have been together for more than a year is depicted, yet they show no physical affection whatsoever, showing themselves being shy about a simple kiss on the lips or cheek. For most of the season, more than a couple they seemed to me like best friends. I would have liked to see more about their relationship like in other BL dramas such as Dark Blue Kiss, which is also a second season and we get to see how they deal with problems that couples have.

So overall, cute, sweet but bland. Just a romantic comedy.
