Jovovich mentioned in an interview that director Paul W.S. Anderson has been hinting at a sequel. There are also hints at a second part in the ending sequence, if the movie is even somewhat of a success a sequel might be produced but that seems unlikely seeing the response by fans and critics.
At the end of the movie right after the cast list appears shots of an apparently new chapter coming up. But not sure when it will be released.
