Now before you ask, yes i have seen the Nekro files 1 and Nekro files 2, and neither of them are good but at least there was some effort put into them. Here this felt like a edgy teenagers school project from back what, 1995? That's what it felt like. I fail to believe that this thing was made in 2017...
Where do i begin? Writing. There is barely any script in this. We got a detective and a newspaper writer trying to stop Logan. That's the whole movie. 1 hour of the same idea. There isn't anything deeper here or something. It's just two puppets trying to find a skeleton zombie serial killing puppet.
Voice acting here is really bad. In few places i barely could of understood what they were saying. No there was no subtitles, so there might be bits that i failed to follow. I am going to be honest, i dont think a 10 year old would get "Disturbed" over this movie, rather a full grown adult. This whole movie was suprisingly tame compared to Nekro Files 1 and 2.
Camera work is cheaper then what we had in Nekro Files 1 and 2. Honestly it felt like they were using Stock footage and just plastering the puppets onto it...
Also i am going to be honest, this movie was super boring. I couldn't care about Logan, nor the main "heroes". I was just hoping for this thing to end, and i am suprised i managed to watch this to the end, and haven't shut it off after like 20 minutes. Kudos to me for that.
There is one Positive, and that's the ending. The Yellow Robot thing looked amazing. That whole segment was awesome, and it was the only thing that i actually enjoyed about this movie, was he robot thing. However, everything else no...
Not sure why would you go and watch this, when there's much better "true crime" movies out there. Go watch The Untold Story ,or Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer or Angst or Ichi The Killer or Vengeance or Lady Vengeance, i can keep going to be honest. I am sure you'll enjoy the movies i listed way way more then what was here.
