This movie has the potential to be great. The trailer makes it seem like horror/slasher film but it is more of a slasher/comedy. Quite a few funny moments. Quite a few very cringe worthy moments also. 3 hours has become the new norm for movies it seems but this movie didn't need to be 3 hours. All in all a entertaining movie despite the length. If you can make it through the couple drawn out moments you will enjoy it. I would recommend it.
At the beginning it is a little confusing. If one has the patience to continue watching it, it turns out to be a good film. There is something of Tarantino's Pulp Fiction in the dialogues. The end could have been better, though.
Actors play fine.
Considering it is an independent, low-budget film, i would defintely reccomend it.
Story about a girl who gets in a car accident and tragically looses her parents and having to stay with a related as her guardian. Jonathan Holbrooks direction in this story will put you into a world of haze around it's characters by showing specific points of their character.
The story almost feels like a three part because you follow the girl (Sanae Loutsis) through a stage of confusion, the feeling of lost and companionship.
A hint of folk lore also plays it's part in this with the damsel in distress missing love and the beast who could not feel it but accept it. You can't help but feel for "Harvey" in this due to his nature but it's a mere subtle of a dilusion because even a loyal animal can't be tamed for what it's always been.
The cast in this does it well giving the audience a take on who these people are and the misery they carry in this universe.
It is a film to take in that provides it's own unique way if story telling.

This film is waaaay too long. The acting is beyond terrible all around. The writing is also not very good. Just wanted to set the record straight.
Multiple different story lines throughout the movie. Kind of a slasher/comedy of sorts. I went into it with zero expectations and was pretty surprised. It's got a good story, it's shot well, acting is pretty good, but it is long. I think the story could have been told in a shorter film. I could see 20 or so minutes getting cut out and telling the same story. Besides the length I was entertained. I think it's worth a watch.
