This well-performed but otherwise Tanya Hyde DVD from Britain's Harmony Films sort of answers my question of: "Why is Tanya Hyde no longer making Adult films?" Her talent and innovative style dating back a couple of decades are unquestionable, but apparently doing the same old thing takes its toll.
So despite the title, this is a set of almost random bondage/fetish vignettes from the top director in her field. We've seen it all before, and one has only to pop into the DVD player any old Private Media or Harmony disk and the same quality is there.
My favorite segment here is "Room 69", in which Brooke Jameson and Shay Hendrix make for statuesque dominatrices, giving slave Jay R. quite a workout, dressed in identical revealing leather and latex outfits replete with military caps.
Less appealing is "Leatherotica", in which Euro stud Ian Scott wields metal instruments, including dildo and ben wa balls, for the posterior of beautiful Angelica Heart, who thankfully is always a joy for me to observe on-screen, one of Euro porns least-sung super talents.
Video's title refers to the final vignette called "La Belle Epoque" in which French thespians Lou Charmelle and Angell Summers are outfitted in glorious period dresses, corsets and top hats from the Gay '90s, indulging in a fine soft-core prelude before getting down to XXX business in threesome with Scott.
Remaining segment "Deep End" involves Jay R. with goofball dildos having his way matched with Brit beauties Jasmine Webb (for IR content) and another unsung lady, Alexa Andreas.
