WWF Rage in the Cage (1994)

Trivia

WWF Rage in the Cage

Edit
Rage in the Cage is the 2nd sequel to WWF Super Wrestlemania (1992) and WWF Royal Rumble (1993) released on the Sega Genises/Mega Drive and Super Nintendo console.
It features all previous wrestlers but Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Papa Shango whom each had parted ways with the WWF at the time.
The game contains most of the same characters previously used in both different roster featured version of WWF Royal Rumble that where released in 1993 on the Sega MD/Genesis and Super Nintendo retrospectively.
Being released on the Sega CD gave the game more space to include more characters to the roster, giving 20 in total. The previous game "WWF Royal Rumble" contained 12 on each version. The extra space also gave way to include a steel cage match, which was not included in the games follow up sequel "WWF Raw" [1994]
As of 2023, the game sees its 30th anniversary. However sadly it also has seen over 50% of the included superstars on its roster have passed away.
