Wouldn't say it was gory. I'm not one for scary movies at all or anything gory, trust me. Only one very brief scene of gore but you hardly see anything (a one second view of someone with something stabbed fully through their body). I know it sounds bad but I have squeamish friends who wouldn't consider this gory. It is a male actor who briefly displays himself, I believe it is the only scene leading to the movie being a 15 but I think it is ok for anyone over 12 as long as they are responsible and understand things like that. I'm 13 and this would be the second time I've ever watched a 15 and other than that very brief scene, repeatitive bad language is all to be concerned about. If you wish to watch this movie, I hope you enjoy. I'd say it's a one-time-watch so I'd recommend renting it (cheaper). Hope this helps
