This movie was ok but it wasn't really worth 1hr 25m even though the animation was pretty at times and not awful.
The characters can get annoying through out and there are characters you will not like at all.

This is a pretty harmless animated movie about a pampered dog that has to learn how to live without privileges. Very basic story but I thought it wasn't as painful as I was expecting it to be, and it even has some heart to it which I found surprising. The animation is not amazing but does its job. I had just watched another terrible animated movie and this one seemed like a Pixar masterpiece when compared, but with some distance I can see it was just OK. I still find the West Side Story dancing squirrels very funny, but I don't think the target audience will understand the joke.
Simple story line, straight forward emotions and a sneaky musical style make this a hit with my 7 year old! The rest doesn't matter really as long as the children enjoyed. And this is how u I have this film 7 stars.
My 5 year old enjoyed it - which was the reason for being there which is why it gets 6 stars. It was mildly entertaining but largely familiar.

I enjoyed it even tho I'm not a kid. It was really sweet, funny and both for kids and grown ups. I don't think you will be bored cause the plot is really interesting. It's a relaxing movie that I personally really liked.
Half of the voice talent are old pros and are great, the other half sound like a high school drama club. The animation is actually pretty good, even if the story is a regurgitation of a million other dog movies.
The worst part is the squirrels. If you are curious how many times a crotch grabbing, dancing squirrel can say "Nuts" before it starts to make you uncomfortable, the answer for me was 3. But the joke just keeps coming back, over and over until you've heard them aggressively say "Nuts" so many times that you debate whether or not to just turn the movie off.
My 6 year old got bored and asked if we could watch something else instead.

A mix of several other cartoons like Pets, Bolt, Wild and the movie Bailey, but here we have a cute copy about dogs, after coming to live with my sister and her dog, I learned about the love of pets, and how they strengthen us, and It warms us, has no price, love without limits...

The movie was merely a series of clichés and stereotypes. The characters conveniently act abnormally only so as to advance the story - a trait of a terrible story teller. Neither of our kids (10 & 8) even giggled once. The animation was "fine," not excellent.
I've seen worse movies, but not many.

Based on true story of Leona Helmsley who left her dog "Trouble" 12 million and was the " Queen of Mean" . Kids enjoyed it, I thought it was ok. Lowered my standards in COVID.

This movie has so much crude humor. I really don't advise watching this. The point of the movie is kind of unclear, was sort of cliché, and was kind of boring.

I dont know how people rate this with 1 or 2 stars. Me and my wife really enjoyed it. We own dogs and we love animals , we loved the movie, animation maybe not on par with pixar but considering the buget you have to appreciate the animation quality witch was more than decent. Kids will love it and also some adults (we did).

I thought this was a reasonably entertaining and fun movie. Good for a watch, if you don't let your expectations get in the way. I will watch it again.
Personally I found the movie derivative, and lacking that feel that makes it seem special or original. Many times I found myself feeling like this all seems so familiar. Obviously the writers ran short of ideas, by having to imitate Pet Detective. The in-laws behaving much like the greedy in-laws from almost anywhere else. I am not surprised that so many people knew the squirrels were dancing the "rumble" dance from West Side Story, later in this movie it became kind of annoying. The exhausting use of "nut" jokes, made that seem old and forced. It's all been done before.

Sure kids will watch it, kids watch anything! It's a sort of knock off of secret life of pets. It's boring, repetitive, cheap and, cliche. Don't waste your time or money!

It's okay for kids. Some parts have a lot of heart, others have a lot of cringe. It takes a lot of "influence" from Bolt (seriously trouble even looks like Bolt) and secret life of pets and pretty much every movie about pets. There are a lot of well seasoned actors who aren't left much to work with by the ones that are exceptionally awful. The squirrels almost ruin the movie. So much cringe. So it's good for kids but if you've seen one lost pet movie, you've seen this one.

It's a 4. That's all there is to it. The jokes are lame, the characters are 1D, the animation is a bust, the songs are 4/10, the plot is predictable, the supporting *filler* characters are meant to entertain and make you laugh but they just make you yawn and check your phone instead, the title sounds dumb while it tries to be unique, snoop dogg doesn't help this movie, and the plot is ruined by the lame jokes and unoriginal dialogue between characters. It's a 4/10. Meh.

So this was part of our family movie night and out of the others we did watch I found this one to be the most boring. My 7yr old loved it and has re-watched it several times since then but I won't sit through another viewing of this one.
This felt really aimed at the young kids. There didn't seem to be anything here to help keep the attention of the adults watching. It will do just fine to keep the kids entertained but I wouldn't include this one in my ever going to watch again category.
Bolt and Life of Pets would be movies I could stand watching again.

- Story is uninspired
- Big Sean's performance is dry, and his line delivery is just abysmal
- There are plenty of better kids movies out there to watch
- animation is ugly, just looks basic. Don't know what they were going for.

Several comments of "nuts" intentionally to be inappropriate. Even bothered my 10 year old. I'll never understand why kids movies have to be inappropriate these days. Otherwise a great movie.

This movie has to be the worst movie of 2019.
The animation is like watching a cheap animated series on TV. It's like being trown back 15 years in animation quality.
Most characters are not likable or funny and the squirrels very awkward to watch.
Trouble himself looks like the dog Bolt from 2008!! only worse
Waste of money for me and my kids.

Trouble is a fun animated movie to watch. It takes us on a adventure when the sweet little Trouble finds himself lost and stray after being pampered his entire life. I liked the premise and it deserves 1/2 for story and 1/1 on plot settings.
The animation and dialogues are colorful and sometimes intended for a grown up audience and it is made fun to people irrespective of their ages 1.5/2 for animation and dialogues.
I believe the pace is good and the settings and adventure were well developed along with a cheerful soundtrack. 1/2 for directing and soundtrack. Finally I would give it 1.5/2 from myself as I had a great time watching this lovely dog flick.

I decided to find movies to watch outside genres of what I normally see, and I liked it. I found it had good animation and the story was easy and interesting to understand and I did manage to get invested enough in the plot to where I didn't distracted, and it was refreshing seeing a movie that was family friendly (besides maybe that squirrel joke with the nuts.) Then at the same time I can understand bad reviews like many characters weren't that likeable and it can come off as cringy and unrealistic but at the same time.. it's a kids movie. In general I've seen better however I'd still recommend 6.5/10 in my opinion.

Straightforward simplistic story with the standard (dog movie) flow. Sometimes funny. Sometimes forced funny. The movie could have been shorter. And I personally thought the dance of the squirrels was awkward because it made me think of Michael Jackson... while watching a movie for children... But all in all okay. I think most children will enjoy it.
