Writer and actor (Trevor) James Medeiros, Caroline Simone O'Brien, Jonathan Berenson, Elizabeth Izzo, Morgan Paupaw, Sarah Seagroves, Jalil Houssain, Miguel D Chavez, Andrew Retland, Danny Gomez, Katrina Solo and Abe Revel met at a Theatre Company. The film was shot in the bar of the Theatre which was dressed to look like a bar.
Medeiros was inspired to write the script after being in Caroline Simone O'Brien's award winning short Felt Help, where he played a rat. Spoiler alert he plays a rat again in this one.
Jonathan Berenson was nominated for his Puppetry work as Frosty the Snowman along with the cast of WHO KILLED SANTA, for BEST ENSEMBLE at the VTA awards 2016.
Puppet Life 1 won BEST FILM at the SaMo Independent Film Festival 2016.
