The name of Lee and Dean's construction company, Deanlee Construction Solution's is intentionally incorrectly punctuated with the infamous "grocer's apostrophe".
On Wednesday, 22nd August 2018 Channel 4 announced that they had commissioned a 6-episode second series of the comedy.
On 14th April 2020 the show's creators and stars Mark O'Sullivan and Miles Chapman posted a statement on social media announcing that Channel 4 has opted not to commission a third series of the sitcom. The statement alludes to the difficulties currently being experienced by all industries due to the Coronavirus pandemic but states that the show "never quite got the number of viewers to guarantee another run." The announcement came just days after Channel 4 announced that it would be reducing its content budget by £150 million with the UK advertising market expected to be halved in April and May 2020.
