Known for his work in ‘Masoom’ and ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’, actor Omkar Kapoor, who is seen in the show ‘Aangan-Aapno Kaa’ shared how the character appealed him on multiple levels, and delved into the show’s unique theme.

Omkar plays Dr Siddhant in the family drama. Amid the captivating narrative centered on the devoted single father Jaidev Sharma (Mahesh Thakur) and his three daughters, there’s a new twist on the horizon.

Omkar brings a breath of fresh air to the storyline. Stepping into the character of Dr Siddhant, a resilient and compassionate doctor with modern ideologies, he becomes a potential suitor for Pallavi (Ayushi Khurana), chosen by her father Jaidev. This intriguing addition promises to bring exciting new twists to Pallavi’s life and adds complexity to her budding romance with Akash (Samar Vermani).

On what drew him to Dr Siddhant’s character, Omkar said: “My character appealed to me on multiple levels.

‘Rabb Se Hai Dua’ actor Karanvir Sharma, who is seen as Haider in the show, talked about overcoming his fear of heights while shooting a sequence in which he has to save Ghazal (Richa Rathore) from committing suicide by jumping off a cliff.

Sharing the incident, the actor said that it was quite a challenging scene for him as he is scared of heights.

Karanvir said: “I believe you can overcome your fears only by facing them and that is why I decided to perform this stunt on my own despite having altophobia. I am really afraid of heights and never thought I would be able to perform such stunts. When I got the opportunity, I didn’t want to miss it and decided to face my fear.”

He has been part of several TV shows and films including ‘Siyaasat’, ‘Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahaani’, ‘Zid’, ‘Blank’, ‘A Thursday’, and many more.

Actor Sudhanshu Pandey, who is currently seen in the show ‘Anupamaa’, talked about the scope for newcomers in the entertainment industry and especially Bollywood. He also added that big celebrities could come forward and make certain major changes in the film industry.

“I think especially actors such as Priyanka Chopra and A R Rahman, who have both achieved big on the international platform, can speak up about Bollywood. They can expose the kind of pressure and bullying that happens in Bollywood, it is definitely very encouraging and people like them can really make a difference. I am hoping that people like them speak up more.”

He added that with certain efforts, there can be major changes in the industry.

He shared: “I wouldn’t say that in India we treat women as inequality, we are the oldest civilisation and this is the only country that worships a lady called Ardhanarishvara which is a symbol of equality and a symbol of man and women in one body.
