The main character performed by the exceptional Chris Dubey, imitated the life of a hard working guy that wanted a family life but couldn't obtain it, even with all of the necessary tools needed to make it happen. This was a story that had it all, the insanity of chemical dependency, denial, societal influences, greed, and a healthy appetite for power! Though several tried to denote their power it lead them all to no where real fast! Im looking forward to watching this movie again.

Hollywood would have us believe that we can get ourselves out of whatever kind of trouble we get ourselves into. We may suffer a few setbacks along the way, but we will meet a few quirky characters and have a few laughs. We will learn some important life lessons, but love will conquer all. The good guys will win and live happily ever after. Paper City Burnout is not a Hollywood movie. This movie was made by people who have the courage to tell us what really happens. Oh, yeah, you've got the quirky characters. the funny bits, and some really solid performances. But you don't get the Hollywood ending. Instead, you get a harsh and very unsettling dose of reality. This is not a feel good movie, but it is a movie that should be seen by anyone who might ever be faced with the decision of whether or not to abuse drugs. If you're not a member of some sheltered religious community, that would include you.
