Lauren Lee Smith, Sharron Matthews, Rebecca Liddiard, and Chantel Riley in Frankie Drake Mysteries (2017)

Trivia

Frankie Drake Mysteries

Edit
The Frankie Drake: Cold Case webisodes feature Chief Inspector Thomas Brackenreid and Detective Llywelyn Watts from Murdoch Mysteries. The two series are set 16 years apart.
As stated above, Brackenreid and Watts are featured in the Frankie Drake web series and yes the shows are set 16 years apart. However, anyone who watched the web series would know that both characters had been appropriately aged and background stories adjusted for the time period. Constable George Crabtree is also featured in the Frankie Drake series in season 1 episode 8 The Pilot.
The episodes were shown in an entirely different order on the Alibi channel in the UK.
Early in the premiére episode, Jack Porter twice uses the phrase "back in the day", an expression that didn't come into vogue until the 1980s. In the era of the series, the expression would have been "back in the old days".
All 4 of the leading ladies have guest starred in Hudson & Rex. Lauren Lee Smith (Frankie) was in S1 E18 as Gabrielle Bullock, Chantel Riley (Trudy) was in S2 E11 as Mica Arora, Sharron Matthews (Flo) was in S2 E16 as Sharon Lightwood, and Rebecca Liddiard (Mary) was in S5 E9 as Dr. Reba Warner. Dillon Casey who played Frankie's brother Jack was also in an episode of Hudson & Rex, S2 E5 as Tim Vanderholt.
