Eddie Murphy: Party All the Time

Song enough to party down

Eddie Murphy is a man of many talents, and this racy, heart pounding, one hit wonder song is another example. How can you not like this song. Right from the beaty start, this song has you, all the way to it's finish, where the the music slowly diminishes, where you're sad to see it go. The music clip, has strong chosen lyrics, by a talented individual, you cannot hate. When before known actor, Bruce Willis was doing his own one hit wonder song, "Respect Yourself", around the same time in '85, this was the other more modest hit, this the one I easily opt for. It's great that actors can do a song on the side whatever to beef up their resume, and when they produce hits like this, why not? The freeze frame end shot with the two, Murphy, and James giving that "everything's perfect" forefinger and thumb joined gesture, aptly fits how they should feel about it. I'd be proud too. One of those songs that stays in your head. Another little piece of 80's memorabilia, I'll never forget, and I'm glad.
